It's Monday Again

Good Morning gentle readers. Let me thank you once again for your condolences on the loss of my beloved dog. You guys are awesomesauce and I love you all. Here is a *GREAT BIG FAT HUG* for each and every one of you.

This post is going to be short and sweet because I'm not really up to blogging. My head is still in a fog but I wanted to let you know I'm felling a little better now, I've been reading your posts but not commenting. Congratulations to all the winners of awards and contests while I've been away. Go YOU!

I've also recieved some awards and did win a contest too, but I'm going to save all that for my regular 'Friday's at the Piedmont Grille' post.

I'm also going to post the excerpt from REMEMBERING YOU that I didn't post last week so be sure to come around on Thursday to find out why Uncle Sally hates Nana Rocco. Next week I think I'm going to post the excerpt from Tony's POV the night they first met, so if you've a mind, or a calender handy, mark it down.

That's all for now, thanks for sticking by me when the chips were down, and speaking of chips, I think next week I'm going to have my birthday bash and you all can guess how old I really am. Have a lovely week.

There's no question that women do get breast envy, too! It's a shame that we invest so much of our self esteem into our exteriors.

Blogging on Monday morning, eh? That's dedication!!

Val

I'm still in the thick of deadline pressure and missed you post on your sweet pooch. So sorry for your loss. I know we'll be facing something similar with our shelter-rescue pup who's now pushing 12 and has a tricky hip.

Wishing you peace and healing, my friend.

Anne, I'm just getting caught up on your blog now. I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. My family lost our sibling dogs a few years ago, and it still hurts to think about it. I hope you are feeling okay. I'm thinking about you.

A broken bone takes time to heal. A broken heart much longer. We're your friends. We'll wait. Happy Birthday, Anne.

My age? I'm older than I look, younger than I feel. One step at a time. Roland

You are so prolific! I have to know more about Robert - what is he like, who does he belong to? I'm big on unconscious slights (kindness misunderstood)that rewrite a character's perception of themselves and blight their future. Any use?

So glad you're back, and may you never have a birthday that was so blamed hard!

We have to guess your age?

You're not a day over 21, right??

Lovely to see you back honey :)

PS. I tried to email you, but for some reason it wouldn't go through. It's the one on your profile, right?

Wendy -- Yes, that is my correct address. I've been having hang-up issues with blogger for two days now, maybe that's why it won't go through?

Aw...sorry to hear that you had to put your doggie to rest. They are family after all. I know it was a hard but to do it shows how much you cared for your dog.

Happy Birthday, Anne :

It's my unbirthday again. Hope the moments are healing for you.

I have a favor to ask, cyber hat in hand, could you stroll over to my entry in Melissa Marr's short story contest?

http://www.radiantprose.com/entry/view/301

If you like my story, please vote for it. If not, then that's still all right -- thanks for going the 2nd mile for me. You could submit an excerpt from your current novel. If you do, send me the link, and I'll warp speed over and vote for you. Promise.

Roland

Hey there... glad you felt up to popping in. What the heck with pets and birthdays, huh? I'm still aching for you over your loss. Ours doesn't really compare, but when you're hurting, no one is comparing, I guess. Glad you and MB got to pick flowers today. We buried Cookie today after school with prayers and tears, and then turned around and picked up our little one from daycare to celebrate her birthday. Quite a whirlwind. Glad there is good to go with the bad.

You are definitely missed, and have been in all our thoughts. I gave my cats an extra cuddle on behalf of your dog - they purred a thank you. Come back when you can, we are all here. :)

And can't wait for the new Remembering You posts!

Hope all is going as well as it can be for you.
