I'm Back!

Oh my darlings, how much I've missed you all! I have so much to say but of course I need a vacation from my vacation.

The beach was just as I remembered, the family a little older, Monster Baby the life of every party. We had a wonderful time, unfortunately not enough time to do and see everything.

I'm exhausted and excited about talking to you all again, I have so many things to tell you but I need to rest. The trip back was as it should be, cooped up in a car for 16 hours and my body is in need of a long relaxing bath and then sleep.

I promise I'll be around very soon -- how much do I have to catch up on -- so many blogs, so little time.

I can't thank you enough for all your comments and thoughts still coming in about my 5 Stages of Querying article. It made the return home that much more special.

So I just wanted to let you all know I'm back and I love you and miss you and I'll talk to you all very very soon. I hope your holiday was fantastic!

11:01 AM Have been wandering around the blogs for a little while and OMG I have so much to catch up on. It'll take me awhile to read you all and I might not comment but I just wanted to let you know, I'm back, and thank you all so much for the warm welcome. It's nice to know I've been missed.

I'm glad you're back and had a good time.
I know what you mean about needing a vacation from your vacation. I feel that way every time I get back from a vacation.

I read you're article at Guide to Literary Agents on the subject, 5 stages of Querying.

Great job!

Glad you're back, Anne. I'm also about to resume blogging, since it's possible to get too much relaxation time. (Er, isn't it?)

Anyway, welcome back. Loved your article on querying on WD. I live all of those stages pretty much each and every day. ;)

I loved your 5 Stages of Querying post. In fact, I'm writing a post about query, which I'll probably put up in a day or two, and I'm linking the article.

Welcome back! You're so right about needing a vacation from your vacation. Trips are usually meant for relaxing, but they're a lot of work!

Welcome back, love. :)

I'm still in Maine.

I think I've talked Husband into leaving 'early' (we've been here over 3 weeks...but we still have another full week ahead), like leaving this weekend. I miss my house and my gardens and my AC and my pool and my bed and my Tivo and good internet and YOU GUYS and writing and reading. This is family 24/7 in my grill wanting me to DO stuff WITH them all the time. Home is sounding like the best vacation ever!

So, hopefully by Monday I'll be home and back to a schedule and catching up with everyone. He's waffling a little, but I think I'll win. ;)

Miss you.
Glad y'all got home safely and had a good time.
Love,
Lola

Glad you're back. Vacations are very important as not only do you recharge the batteries, you inevitably get more material!
