I have Word 2003 and I print it to a pdf file. But you do have to download software to do that. I have CUTE Pdf Writer (it was free) and it works fine.

First of all, congratulations on the request! Way to go!! And secondly, you should be able to save the document as a PDF file when you click the "save as" button in word. Double check your formatting--
Yay! If you have Word 2007, it's probably already there in your "Save As" list. If you don't, then it gets a bit more complicated. I've used www.zamzar.com in the past and it works pretty well.
Hi Anne! I missed you!!! HUGE congrats on the request. I have Word 2007 that has the PDF save option, but I had to go to Microsoft.com and download additional free software that allows me to use it. I hope you have it figured out by now, but if not, email me! I'll try to help you through it :))
Wow - good luck, Anne! Am sending a bundle of good vibes and wishes your way. I can't help you further with the Word/PDF, but think by now you probably have managed it with all the lovely help from above!

Hi
My saveas option in Word 2007 includes the option. If you are on an older... I would google "create a pdf for free"...you'll get plenty of hits.
Regards, Mac
Yes, Word 2007 you can "save as" a pdf file. In older Word programs, go to "file" and select "create Adobe pdf."
I've done it through the print option. After you hit "Print", the left bottom has some options to let you save as a PDF. Hope this helps!
I hope you got the document to behave properly and were able to send it out to the publisher!
I hope the suggestions worked and congrats on the request!
