Friday's at the Piedmont Grille

Good morning my lovelies. I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I have so much to say but not enough time. My cousin Diane drove back with us and Monster Baby and I have been spending all our time at Yo-Yo and Puppa's (my parents).

I have awards to give out, new friends to introduce you to, some serious questions to ask, discussions to discuss... but I guess it will have to wait until next week.

I'm also trying to figure out a new and improved blogging schedule because even though I'm on a M-W-F schedule, this too, is just not working for me. I can't decide whether to blog sporadically, on a schedule or just not blog at all. (But you know I can't do that. It's impossible for me to not talk.) I guess we'll just have to see.

But for now, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm heading down to Charlotte in about an hour, to see my cousin and meet his wife for the first time.

Stay cool and get some writing done. God knows I haven't and it's killing me.

You can't leave us, so I'm glad you took that off the table!!! I love seeing your name pop up in my blog roll so I'm glad you stopped by to say hello at least!!

Have fun in Charlotte and good luck with the writing!

Happy Friday!

I completely understand about being busy with lots of real world things. As for when/how often to blog -- don't stress about it. Do whatever you'd like to do. We (blog buddies) just want to see you happy.

Glad that you're back and I hope you have fun on your trip to Charlotte!

Since I am blog-inspired at really random times (and like a more set schedule), I tend to write them whenever the mood takes me and then schedule them to post, one (and only one) every day M-F in the morning. It works pretty well (until I run out of pre-written posts haha).

There is always the excuse of it being Summer! Enjoy your trip.

Have fun in Charlotte! As for schedules, just see how you go. I find blogging when inspiration hits suits me as it can be tricky to stick to a schedule.

Summer schedules bring a challenge. I am struggling too. But when I open up to your blog page, the picture is so soothing...I look forward to the words that follow. Enjoy your weekend.

Good luck with the blog schedule- I'm all for being sporadic. It's summertime! (That's my excuse.)

I know how blogging on M-W-F is as that was my blog schedule. Maybe go to just twice a week?

Anne, I've tried to settle on some kind of blogging schedule, too; but it just doesn't work. Just do what you can and don't worry about it! (And summertime IS a sporadic time, as Stephanie says.)

I've become a major-league blog-slacker lately. I really need to kick it in gear or I'll start losing followers!

Hope you have a great trip and a wonderful weekend. :)

My breath caught when you mentioned the possibility of not blogging...whew! Glad you changed your mind! I've gotten to where I schedule several days' worth of posts. Now, I just need to figure out a reading and replying schedule...have fun...and check your email....

I won't get to read anything for the next week. I'm not sure whether to feel relieved or to be upset at all the great posts I will miss.

I've decided to try to blog two-three times a week when the right mood strikes. A schedule won't work for me. Please don't quit blogging! I like reading your blog and it is a great way to hone your writing voice, too.

Hope the rest of your vacation is great!

I try to post "every couple of days". Unfortunately life tends to get in the way.
Give yourself some flexibility and don't punish yourself when you can't stick to a schedule.

I just got back from two days at my dad's place. It was a nice break to mingle with humans, drink, and eat too much food. I hope you had a good weekend, chickadee.

Aww, sweetie, it sounds like you're so busy with real life! I think that's wonderful though. In the long run it's all that real-life living that can make your writing even better. Experience and all that jazz, even on the smallest level.

Not sure if this helps out at all, but when blogging just got to be too much for me, I went very sporadic. The only set schedule I have is on Thursdays at the Lit Lab.
