I found this quote quite by accident last week. I thought it was fitting to use as a romance writer's prayer.
I am certain of nothing,
but the holiness
of the heart's affections
and the truth
of the imagination.
What the imagination seizes
as beauty
must be truth--
whether it existed before
or not.
John Keats 1795-1821

Love it!
I love it! I'll keep it in mind when I start working on my romantic suspense. Heck, works for my YA contemporary novels, too, which are usually heavy with romance. :)
Bish and Stina -- Isn't it just beautiful.
Lovely. Keats is great. What a talent to have been so young. Have you seen Bright Star?
Beautiful. Perfect for a romance writer. Or any fiction writer, really. :)
Lois -- No, I haven't but it's on my list. We really do have to do lunch again.
Linda -- Isn't it just? It's just so lovely.
That John Keats. Now I am in love with him all over again.
That's awesome.
What a wonderful poem! Thanks for post it.
Betty -- I must find out more about him. Perhaps I will fall as well.
Matt -- I thought that too. And what's with the name change?
Sherrie -- Anytime.

And after my post today, I'm sure you know what I mean, Anne!
