Christine's Holiday Blogfest

I know I'm not much for blogfests but since I saw Christine's invitation, I knew I had to participate. It's also a little longer than the requisite 250 words but...

In my latest WIP, a Regency romance, the main characters do share a Christmas together. Unexpectedly. Here goes. Hope you like it.

Love it. Great scene Anne. As you know, I don't read romance, but I do love the high society feel of the Regency period.

Matthew -- Thanks. I love the Regency period. Don't know if I could have lived in it, but I do love it.

Thank you for participating. Don't worry I went over the limit too. Oops. :)
Great job. I do like the Regency period as well. Lovely.
Have a great day!

Christine -- Thanks for hosting!

Alex -- Don't you wish you know what happens! It's not what you think.

Hi,

Ooooh! All that burgeoning desire on a Monday is too much to bear. How dare you tempt and then leave a reading wanton, it's just not fair. ;)

Ooooo...Christmas time is the perfect time for tension, baby! All kinds!

Linda -- You're very welcome.

Don -- Don't be silly. I've seen yours.

Liza -- After the first of the year I'll begin posting some excerpts. I hope.

Jennifer -- I'm glad because that's all there is in the book, just the tension until the very last page.

Melissa -- Thanks. Soon. Very soon.

Betty -- Christmas is the perfect time for tension isn't it?

I absolutely love the regency genre. I'm hosting a historical reading challenge that has a regency category. It is also linked to the Goodreads group I set up for this challenge.

What books would you recommend from this genre? Have you published titles in this genre yet?

I really love the tone of this -- it's so demure & understated. I rarely read books that take place in this time period. Nice romantic tension between the characters.

Anne Gallagher said...

Charlie -- thanks for stopping by. I'll email you.

Golden Eagle -- Thanks so much. 'Preciate it.

Rula -- Sorry to disappoint.

Summer -- Oh the tension!!! This is just the beginning.

Lisa -- Oh what a lovely word -- demure. That's exactly how I picture Violet. Thanks.

Lisa hit the nail on the head with demure. Perfect!

Thanks for sharing this, Anne! I enjoyed reading it!

You're back to what you do best: regency romance! I love it. I'm sure the rest of the WIP is just as great. Beautifully done.
