Blogcation

Good morning. I hope everyone had an enjoyable 4th of July holiday. Monster Child dragged me to the fireworks celebration at the recreational field. It was her first time seeing the bright lights, hearing the big booms. She loved it. Me? Okay, I did too. It was nice to see her so excited.

I know I said I wasn't going on vacation for another couple of weeks, but I've totally run out of things to say here on the blog so I've decided to go on blogcation. I'm sure you all have noticed my absence of late on your blogs, and it really isn't fair for you to come here when I don't reciprocate.

Besides, if I really want to get my books out on Amazon by September, I suppose it would behoove me to work on them, don't you. I've also been working on a new author-blog-website, that hopefully will be fully operational in a few more weeks. It's going to be Regency romance oriented, so I don't expect you all to follow me over there. It's more of an author thing really. But when it goes up, I wouldn't mind if you came over and took a look.

Monster Child goes back to school on August 9, (I know, can you believe how early this year) so hopefully I will be back in full bloggy mode then. (It's only a month.)

Stay safe, remember your sunscreen. I will miss you all. I hope you all have a great rest of the summer.

Gonna miss you too, but I 100% support your decision to step away from the blog in favor of all the other wonderful things that require your attention. Regency Romance...I am SO over there! Can't wait. :)

Here's to a productive and restful blogcation. I know just how you feel! Though I'm posting once, maybe twice a week, I'm just not getting around to reading blogs like I should. I am enjoying not being chained to the computer (blog-o-sphere.) Terrible of me isn't it?

And I'm with Alex, when it's time to promote your book, I'm like, THERE!

I just came back from a blogcation. In fact, I stayed away from the Internet for a time. It does the soul good.

Id like to invite you folks to come to Amish Stories for a recipe for "Famous Pennsylvania Dutch Sticky Cinnamon Buns" along with a book signing schedule for Amish fiction writer Wanda Brunstetter for Pennsylvania and Ohio as well as a contest to meet her.
