Another Small Funny & Congratulations

Congratulations to Alex J. Cavanaugh and his release of CassaStar today!
Woo-hoo!

Congratulations to Theresa Milstein on getting a long-term permanant sub job! Woo-hoo! We'll miss you.

And Monster Baby asked me last night if knew what nocturnal meant.

I asked her where she learned that word.

She, of course, said, "School. Do you know what it means?"

I replied, "Yes, I know what it means. Do you?"

Very proudly she stood up from the kitchen table and said,

"Nocturnal means that animals can't turn around."

Ah, yes. The vocabulary years. They are such fun. Hope things are going well for you, chickadee.

Kid logic is brilliant.

My man was once telling the story of the Great Chicago Fire to his 6-year-old. He said the fire was supposedly started by a cow kicking over an oil lantern. To which she replyed, "And that's why they don't let cows in the city anymore."

LOL; she's very bright Anne :) See, she's learning so much at school. I love all the cute things little ones come home from school with, and the fabulous logic behind it.

Haha! Love it! Every time I hear the word "nocturnal," I think of that line from Madagascar when Alex and Marty are talking about the wild. One of the New York zoo animals shouts out, "Hey, shut it! We're not all nocturnal, ya know!" LOL!

That's cool that your daughter can use the word nocturnal. I think her definition is very imaginative! :)
