Hence, 'grey areas'. It seems a non-descript term yet describes so much. It's a little fuzzy, not quite right, just a little bit off. You know. Besides, I like the color grey.

And whenever you want me to edit something, all you have to do is ask. I'd be more than happy to read whatever any of you guys write and give suggestions. I kind of like it. Makes me feel special. And no payment is needed. Just a read thru of my work at some point or other.Anne Gallagherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05816355522284492131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174226224096540850.post-80339232165860132002009-12-17T18:17:18.350-05:002009-12-17T18:17:18.350-05:00Well I certainly know that if I had money to hire ...Well I certainly know that if I had money to hire you as an editor, I totally would. Between you and my friend Annie(funny you have similar names), my friend Jessica, and Davin and Scott, Monarch is going to be freaking awesome by the time it's ready to go.

I absolutely love your term of "grey areas" - it really, really resonated with me.Michelle D. Thanks for letting me know I did a good job. It means a lot coming from you.

Dominique: My last ms. went through, honest to God, 6 MAJOR revisions, and every single time I missed the stupidest typo's and word errors and when I finally caught them I wanted to kill myself. I mean really, I know the difference between through and threw and boy howdy if I didn't miss that one all six times. But I think you've got a point about missing typos as such after a long revision process. I know, for me at least, sometimes the tiny things slip into a blur after looking for so long at the whole. That's why I love my betas.Kelsey (Dominique) Ridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10646757546422013401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174226224096540850.post-6161893107212396662009-12-17T13:53:22.540-05:002009-12-17T13:53:22.540-05:00Nice post, Anne. I find that I often struggling with being able to view my own work as if someone else had written it. Maybe that's the wrong approach. I'll have to think about that.Davin Malasarnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09385823575081492949noreply@blogger.com
