That can get tiresome pretty quickly, and romance is not central to what I write. I'm much more interested in what happens after the wedding. That's when things get really interesting.

One thing I'm doing now is a non-triangle, actually. Guy is happily married, but also has some mutual attraction with a good friend (who is also in a relationship). Everybody knows about it, he gets teased occasionally, and nothing happens. Very rare in fiction -- especially movies, where extramarital attraction is almost always acted on. Quite common in real life. though.

I've also got a couple of triads (three-way relationships). In my writing, of course, not in my life. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174226224096540850.post-66458374683587175552011-05-24T11:51:21.372-04:002011-05-24T11:51:21.372-04:00I love a good love triangle! I love them to bits- they add tension and I love the idea of having to choose between two very different guys who each hold a different pull on you. I don't think I've been in a love triangle so much as I've always had a boyfriend when another guy comes along and tries to coerce me into being with him. There was a guy I was doing a play with who almost succeeded in getting me to leave my boyfriend (there was an 'almost' kiss) but I got cold feet. Ex boyfriends would call me up, knowing full well I had moved on and try and convince me to go see a movie they know I'd love or go out to a restaurant for my favorite meal #hardtosaynotofoodbutidid. But I think the worst is when I was caught between two old flames at a party and they both wanted to take me home #awkward.Creepy Query Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18115161057496086972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174226224096540850.post-72753920313412286212011-05-23T08:41:18.460-04:002011-05-23T08:41:18.460-04:00Triangle?
